Telenor appoints Goldie Shwe Yee Win Lei as Chief People Officer

9thJanuary 2017, Yangon– Telenor Myanmar Limited (“Telenor”) today announced the appointment of Goldie Shwe Yee Win Lei as Chief People Officer (CPO), effective 9th January 2017. She takes over the role from current CPO Anne Birgitte Kverum, who returns to Telenor Group in Norway.

Goldie joined Telenor in December 2013 and is currently Head of Telenor’s Human Resources Business Partners. She has more than 20 years of human resources experience in various multinational organizations. Prior to joining Telenor Goldie was Director of Human Resources and Administration at Roche Pharmaceuticals, responsible for Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos. As a HR practitioner she also worked more than 8 years for American Embassy in Yangon.
