Network & Coverage

There are several reasons why occasionally you will get 2G signal in a 3G ready area. With wireless communications the surroundings can often impact the signal strength. For example, 2G can sometimes be strongest and better suited to provide the most optimal call quality inside buildings, and the network will then switch the signal between 2G and 3G. This is in order to give you the better customer experience. If you have manually set your smartphone to use 2G technology only, the handset will then only search for 2G signal. We recommend that our customers enable both 2G and 3G on their handsets if possible so we can provide the best customer experience.
