CAREER OBJECTIVE

To design, develop and execute activities regarding product life-cycle management, including conducting product design, product roadmap, product development and product management, in order to ensure lucrative product portfolio, which is in alignment with marketing strategies and plan, as well as to ensure compliance with Telenor Group’s overall strategic direction

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    Effectively perform functional accountabilities below:
  • Coordinate with relevant parties within product functions and in other functions, and provide support in product design, in order to ensure efficient execution of product design processes and to ensure alignment with overall product functions objectives and goals
  • Design, develop and periodically revise one year product master plan and roadmap, including individual and generic corporate products, prioritized to fit budget, headcount and channel/technology capacities, in which align with Telenor Group’s overall direction, standards and governance, in order to ensure achievement of product function’s objectives and goals
  • Communicate product life-cycle master plan with other functions in Marketing Group and to other relevant parties, in order to ensure alignment in understanding of overall products initiatives, responsibilities and contribution towards overall product function’s objectives and goals
  • Monitor and evaluate product life-cycle, including assessing performance of each products, in order to ensure efficiency of marketing product activities as planned, as well as to identify improvement opportunities to be able to update product plan and activities accordingly
  • Develop and implement strategies regarding extending products life-cycle and/or products withdrawal, to ensure lucrative product portfolio to meet customers’ demand, and to ensure alignment of product strategy and execution with Telenor Group’s strategic direction
  • Produce relevant documentation and reports, including recommendations, regarding product life-cycle development, performance and assessment, in order to provide support in decision-making
  • Perform activities to track, monitor, evaluate and periodically review the overall processes of product life-cycle management, as well as the overall processes of coordinating guidelines to relevant functions, in order to identify improvement opportunities, to ensure optimization of the operation
  • Understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools: Initiate, Prepare: definition/scope/requirements, Execute & Control: scope, work-plans, resources, deliverables, Q/A, transition planning, etc., Close: completion and assessment
  • Creates a sense of belonging and ownership among team members and motivates team members; delegates responsibility; promotes mutual support and interaction
  • Facilitates the discussion and uses cross functional relationships to accomplish work objectives
  • Ensures that project status, issues and successes are communicated to project team, stakeholders, and all levels of management and documented appropriately
  • Collect feedbacks from relevant parties and perform analysis to ensure business and other requirements are met
  • Identify and respond appropriately to patterned issues regarding corporate communication in order to ensure that current issues are efficiently dealt with to support operational excellence
  • Report all issues/variances with planned work to ensure any activities outside normal procedures are communicated in a timely and accurate manner
  • Learn to use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve patterned problems
  • Be accountable for other certain works as assigned from immediate superior level

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Engineering / Computer Science / Business IT or equivalent / MBA
  • Minimum 3+ years of similar experienced including experience successfully managing various projects preferably in the telecom industry
  • Strong and tested product and process management skills, including vendor and risk management
  • Exceptional analytical, planning, organization, verbal/written communication skills and ability to work well under deadlines
  • Experience the working with cross-functional teams against identified objectives.
  • Confidence and ability to propose and defend opinions and perspectives in order to influence strategic product management decisions
  • Good skills on Microsoft Office Applications - Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proactive and result-oriented team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to deliver tasks on time and on track under continuous pressure
  • Experience the working with cross-functional teams against identified objectives
  • Confidence and ability to propose and defend opinions and perspectives in order to influence strategic product management decisions
