Telenor Myanmar Limited’s (“Telenor”) Lighthouses begin providing SIM registration services in 12 states and regions. Lighthouses are social enterprises run by local entrepreneurs who have a passion for spreading digital literacy in their communities. Telenor extended partnership with Lighthouse entrepreneurs for delivering SIM registration services in order to assist Telenor users fully enjoy benefits available by registering their SIM.
Concurrently, Telenor is holding a series of ‘SIM Registration Days’ in 6 regions, 4 states and Nay Pyi Taw during December. Telenor introduces weekly and monthly ‘SIM Registration Days’ in different parts of the country to inform users registration benefits and help them get registered on the spot. Employees of Telenor and its distributors will hold registration days in close to 800 cities and villages in Nay Pyi Taw, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Tanintharyi, Magway and Sagaing regions, and Mon, Kayin, Kachin and Rakhine states.
Monthly SIM registration day was held in Yangon on 14 December. Famous vocalists including Zaw Paing, Hel Lay, Phoe Thaukkyar, Sitt Thway, Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein, Aint Chit, Irin Zinmar Myint, and Aung Thaw and comedian group joined the entertainment held as part of the registration day.
Telenor has already made multiple online and physical registration channels available to help our customers register their SIM cards at their convenience.
