Senior Expert/ Expert, Reward and Performance Strategist


To perform complex activities and planning to support the development of strategy, plan, and frameworks regarding reward and performance management, in order to facilitate the organization in executing its corporate strategy


  • Ensure understanding of reward and performance strategies and execution roadmap, in order to understand activities needed, and to provide guidance to junior members, according to function’s policies and frameworks, as well as to ensure alignment and compliance with legal regulations and with Telenor Group’s overall direction, standards and governance
  • Perform in-depth analysis regarding reward and performance management, including employees remuneration and performance assessment for employees across all functions in the organization, in order to support senior members in planning and development of processes
  • Perform complex activities in reviewing, analyzing and revising of current tools, processes, systems, and frameworks regarding reward and performance management, which may require basic understanding of requirements, in order to ensure that they efficiently address the current issues, as well as to facilitate in development and execution of the organization’s action plans
  • Analyze relevant information to support the development of strategic reports related to reward and performance management (such as employee satisfaction survey and employees remuneration analysis)
  • Engage in in-depth analysis on benchmarking with best practices in the industry and evaluate potential revision of current tools, processes, systems and framework, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of current practices implemented across the organization
  • Engage in key coordinating activities with relevant parties to identify issues on implementation and communication of newly established tools, processes, systems, and frameworks to ensure efficiency and alignment with key criteria of planning
  • Perform key activates to ensure access of employee reward data both in form of the hardcopy and softcopy to the management and consolation, as well as efficiently manage process and policy over reward certification letter, in order to ensure good governance over employees' private and personal information
  • Perform complex activities in monitoring and evaluating performance of reward and performance strategy, in order to identify improvement opportunities and to enable strategy revision accordingly
  • Perform other complex activities regarding reward and performance strategy, including generating and providing relevant documents and report to support decision-making, in order to facilitate business operations
  • Perform complex activities to track, monitor, evaluate and periodically review the overall processes of reward and performance strategy and execution roadmap development, as well as the overall processes of coordinating guidelines to relevant functions, in order to identify improvement opportunities, to ensure optimization of the operation
  • Perform in-depth analysis on benchmarking organizations in order to adopt market best practices into organization
  • Provide guidance and direction to junior members, decide on the methodologies and techniques to be used, identify risks and determine how to approach and complete tasks, in order to support junior members and successfully achieve targets
  • Ensure that one own area of assignments and contributions are appropriate to meet organization needs while pursuing improved performance
  • Identify and respond appropriately to patterned issues regarding corporate communication in order to ensure that current issues are efficiently dealt with to support operational excellence
  • Continuously update oneself with changes in related trend, which affect tools, processes, systems, and frameworks relevant to the role, in order to maintain knowledge levels required to perform complicated tasks
  • Collaborate with other departments/teams to facilitate analysis and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Assist senior members in advising or educating management and set objectives and direction, in regards to own area of expertise, in order to support management in decision making processes
  • Support senior members in activities that facilitate participation in business planning process and proactively identify opportunities to advance the success of the business
  • Be accountable for other certain works as assigned from immediate superior level


Bachelor degree in HR, relevant fields or equivalent experience

  • 5 or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, compensation &
    Benefits, performance/competency management experience is advantage
  • Ability to gather and analyse facts and statistics
  • Good negotiating and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good in English communication skills both in written & spoken
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
