Regional Sales Manager / Cluster Head


To provide complex activities in the process of developing and enhancing distributor capabilities in all aspects, to ensure distributor operate their business effectively, as well as act as representative of Telenor Myanmar to establish relationship with an authorized distributor, in order to achieve performance targets.


  • Effectively perform functional accountabilities below:
  • Implement the action plans for managing authorized distributor to perform effective and efficient activities in sales, distribution and inventory management of all products and retailer network expansion, as well as guide junior members though difficult assignments, in order to achieve performance targets
  • Monitor and analyses an authorized distributor performance, in order to provide guidance for improvement including determine development plan for the authorized distributor
  • Plan distributor capability development and monitor progress against the plan, as well as guide junior members though difficult assignments, to ensure target capabilities are achieved within timeline
  • Provide complex activities in the process of distributor contract management, to ensure that the up-to-date amendments includes in all distributor contracts
  • Perform recruitment supporting activities to authorized distributors, in order to recruit new qualified distributor’s staff
  • Monitor a distributor’s operations and coordinate with managers of distributor to ensure the alignment and compliance with signed contracts and Telenor Myanmar’s policies in all aspects, including provide guidance to owners and / or managers of distributor on good practices, in order to achieve compliance and performance targets
  • Supervise distributor to review inventory and purchasing activities, including determine an appropriate action plan, to ensure sufficient inventory level of all products and related marketing materials in order to achieve sufficient financial resources to purchase products from Telenor Myanmar
  • Review on allocated quota of distributor in relation to sales target, and coordinate with related parties to ensure that allocated quota enable distributors to achieve sales target
  • Evaluate distributor performance and provide recommendations to terminate an unqualified
  • Distributor based on defined performance criteria and contracts
  • Identify and select potential distributor prospect, in order to select new qualified distributors to replace unperformed or resigned distributors
  • Identify and respond appropriately to patterned issues regarding corporate compliance in order to ensure that current issues are efficiently dealt with to support operational excellence
  • Provide direction to junior members, decide on the methodologies, concepts and techniques to be used, identify risks and determine how to approach and complete tasks, in order to guide and support junior analyst and successfully achieve targets
  • Report all issues/variances with planned work to ensure any activities outside normal procedures are communicated in a timely and accurate manner
  • Continuously update oneself with changes in distributor trend, which affect tools, processes, systems, and frameworks relevant to the role, in order to maintain knowledge levels required to perform complicated tasks
  • Collaborate with other departments / teams to facilitate analysis and identify process improvement / cost reduction opportunities
  • Be accountable for special assignments relating to function as allocated by immediate superior level


  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related
  • At least 5 years of experienced managing cluster
  • Experienced in leading pre-opening team
  • Energetic, flexible, result-oriented and commitment with ‘Can Do' attitude
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills with proficiency in English language
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to drive issues to closure; very strong leadership capabilities
